John Amico's Cosmetology, Hair, Nail and Makeup School Competitions are fun!
Competitions
are a great way to learn and experience true creativity. Students are
eager to expand their abilities to include a variety of competitions
starting as early as three weeks in school. The mannequin competition
has been an exciting event every month for our students. These students,
who have newly enrolled in cosmetology school, have a passion for hair
design and fashion. More importantly, they love people and have a need
to serve and please clients.
The
current Annual Fantasy Hair Fashion Competition was held on August 3,
2015. There were 2 different categories of competition. The competition
was held in front of a live audience. Students who prefer to attend
John Amico Cosmetology School training . As you can see in the photos,
many competed, and these students were really thinking outside of the
box!
A
competition such as the John Amico Cosmetology School Fantasy Hair
Fashion is judged on adaptability, how well it looks on the mannequin,
originality, how unique the style is and technical execution,as well as
how well it is styled and the makeup. The judges are all top stylists
and many alumni have a keen eye for fashion and design. The judges all
commented on the great skill and creative looks created by the students.
Congratulations to all the students who competed, they all made outstanding creations!
These
students are well on their way to a great career. It is so important
that students get their creative vision of fashion and form ASAP.
Way
to go to all our students... both those who are just starting and those
that are about to graduate. You all did outstanding work. There were 6
students winning the 750 hours below and 6 winners in the 750 hours and
above.
All
of these students have a promising future in the Beauty Salon Industry.
While in Cosmetology School, students are learning hair coloring, John
Amico's Smoothie Brazilian Keratin Treatments, haircutting, hair
styling, esthetics, makeup, nails and more.
Salon
owners are eager to hire well-rounded graduating salon ready students.
Salons should call the student service office to request an interview
with graduating students. What salon wouldn't love to have such fabulous
students as John Amico's Students?
