John Amico's Cosmetology, Hair, Nail and Makeup School Competitions are fun!

Competitions are a great way to learn and experience true creativity. Students are eager to expand their abilities to include a variety of competitions starting as early as three weeks in school. The mannequin competition has been an exciting event every month for our students. These students, who have newly enrolled in cosmetology school, have a passion for hair design and fashion. More importantly, they love people and have a need to serve and please clients.
The current Annual Fantasy Hair Fashion Competition was held on August 3, 2015. There were 2 different categories of competition.  The competition was held in front of a live audience. Students who prefer to attend John Amico Cosmetology School training . As you can see in the photos, many competed, and these students were really thinking outside of the box!

A competition such as the John Amico Cosmetology School Fantasy Hair Fashion is judged on adaptability, how well it looks on the mannequin, originality, how unique the style is and technical execution,as well as how well it is styled and the makeup. The judges are all top stylists and many alumni have a keen eye for fashion and design. The judges all commented on the great skill and creative looks created by the students.

Congratulations to all the students who competed, they all made outstanding creations!

These students are well on their way to a great career. It is so important that students get their creative vision of fashion and form ASAP.
Way to go to all our students... both those who are just starting and those that are about to graduate. You all did outstanding work. There were 6 students winning the 750 hours below and 6 winners in the 750 hours and above.
All of these students have a promising future in the Beauty Salon Industry. While in Cosmetology School, students are learning hair coloring, John Amico's Smoothie Brazilian Keratin Treatments, haircutting, hair styling, esthetics, makeup, nails and more.

Salon owners are eager to hire well-rounded graduating salon ready students. Salons should call the student service office to request an interview with graduating students. What salon wouldn't love to have such fabulous students as John Amico's Students?
